After much anticipation our Design-A-Thon Day has arrived at St Bernadette's!
The Design-A-Thon provides students with the opportunity to utilise their creative and innovative skills, designing various sculptures, artworks and products.
The students involved had a blast and we're all looking forward to our next Design-A-Thon in 2018!

Today we took 45 students to Eastern Creek raceway to run in the 3km and 2 km cross country races at the Parramatta Diocesan carnival. All students need to be congratulated for their efforts, the level of excitement towards participation was through the roof. Our squad performed amazingly with many top 20 results. Congratulations to our u11 girls who received 1st place in the teams with Emily 2nd and Michelle 3rd. Our u10 boys had Jakob in 1st place and Ryan 7th place. Congratulations to all of our runners today.

AMAZING 😍 So blessed to host the TODAY Show Weather for Mother's Day! Tim and the crew were amazing to work with and our students were incredible, arriving from as early as 5:20am! Big shout out to our staff for their work behind the scenes, smooth transitions, student support and such an early start. It was a magnificent morning and a big thank you to our P&F stepping up again to provide bacon & egg rolls for a small donation. We raised over $900 to support women and families seeking support from Vinnies. Truly blessed in our Bernie's community 💙 and proud to showcase this to all of Australia. Congratulations to our wonderful Year 6 debating teams who presented thoughtful and engaging arguments on the topic “The Beach is Better than the Bush.” Our home team were successful on the day, and our away team were close runners-up against St Michael’s Primary School. We are so proud of the confidence, teamwork and public speaking skills shown by all students. Well done, Year 6!
