Dance students impressed the crowd with a range of dazzling performances
Hundreds of students from 35 primary and secondary Catholic schools from across the Diocese showcased their creative talents in a series of music, dance and strings performances throughout June, culminating in the ‘Best Of’ performance on 23 June.
The showcase events demonstrated the high calibre of choral, music and dance work from Catholic schools, under the Parramatta Diocese’s creative and performing arts initiative, CAPTIVATE.
The program provides learning and performance experiences for students, as well as builds expertise and a sense of community across the system. CAPTIVATE is very popular with five new schools joining the program since last year.

Winners! Congratulations Stella and Jasmine GOLD in their respective discus events ๐ฅ๐ at the National Athletics Championships for School Sport Australia in Canberra. Jasmine has also placed second in the combined 4x100m relay. Whilst the carnival continues we wish the girls best of luck for their next events ๐

Today we took 20 students to the Parramatta Diocesan Gymnastics gala day at Rooty Hill. What an amazing day! Our squad was just brilliant! Their performances and behaviour were outstanding. We recieved 'Runner Up' for overall teams award and 3 gold medalists in overall performance as well as many overall silver medals. Congratulations to our Gold medalists: Laly B Emily M Eve P

On Monday our Bernies Buds program began at St Bernadette's bringing together students from Kindergarten to Year 6. Mixed-grade groups worked on a fun activity together and then shared lunch, giving our students the chance to get to know friends from other year levels. It was a beautiful example of our school community in action!
