Dance students impressed the crowd with a range of dazzling performances
Hundreds of students from 35 primary and secondary Catholic schools from across the Diocese showcased their creative talents in a series of music, dance and strings performances throughout June, culminating in the ‘Best Of’ performance on 23 June.
The showcase events demonstrated the high calibre of choral, music and dance work from Catholic schools, under the Parramatta Diocese’s creative and performing arts initiative, CAPTIVATE.
The program provides learning and performance experiences for students, as well as builds expertise and a sense of community across the system. CAPTIVATE is very popular with five new schools joining the program since last year.

That’s a wrap! 🇦🇺 Last night was full of laughter with a late-night visit to Questacon and an impromptu talent show. Today we explored Embassy Drive, visited the National Zoo & Aquarium, and wrapped up our adventure at the AIS. Canberra, you’ve been a delight! Thank you for turning on the sunshine and giving us so many unforgettable memories. Our hearts are full, our bodies are weary, and we’re now Sydney bound! 🚌☀️

Year 6 have had a fabulous first day in Canberra! 🇦🇺 Today we explored some of our nation’s most iconic places including the Mint, Parliament House, the Museum of Australian Democracy, the Australian War Memorial and enjoyed the incredible views from Mt Ainslie. After a delicious dinner, the excitement continues as we head off to Questacon for an evening of fun and discovery. Looking forward to another amazing day tomorrow!

Year 6 Fundraiser: Krispy Kreme, and Mufti Day! Our Year 6 students are hosting a fundraiser on Thursday 11th June 2026 to raise money for their special end of year gift to the school. For just $5, students can enjoy a Plain Glazed Krispy Kreme Doughnut and come to school in Mufti! To participate, simply place your order through the Qkr app as there will be no cash sales on the day. Orders need to be in by Friday 29th May.
