Congratulations to our 4 athletes who received awards at the CSNSW Awards (Catholic Schools NSW) on Tuesday, held at the SCG. Parramatta Diocese had 11 recipients, St Bernadette's had 4 of these! Congratulations Jasmine (Athletics Multi-class), Emily (Diving), Cameron (Swimming): NSW Catholic Primary School- Maroon Award (Award given to a student who has been outstanding in that sport). Congratulations Stella (Athletics Multi-class): NSWCPS Catholic Primary School- Bar Award (Award given to a student who has been outstanding in that sport, and has received a NSWCPS Maroon Award in a previous year). We are all so proud of you and congratulate your parents for all that they do to contribute to your success πππππ

SESSION 2 - 2026 Parramatta Diocesan Team Sport Trials are OPEN! π’ OPEN NOW (Term 4, 2025): AFL - Boys & Girls Team Football (Soccer) - Boys & Girls Team Hockey - Boys & Girls Team Netball - Girls Team Rugby League - U12 Boys & Girls Team Rugby Union - Boys Team Softball - Boys & Girls Team Touch Football - Boys & Girls Team Please note: Basketball, Cricket, and Tennis nominations are closed. π’ OPENING Monday 1st December 2025: βοΈWho Can Nominate? Years 5 & 6 (2026): Eligible to nominate for all sports when they open. Year 4 (2026): Eligible to nominate for Hockey, Softball & Touch Football only. Eligibility & Requirements β Trials are for students who can demonstrate: - Above average ability - High level of skill development - Representative playing experience applicable for some sports - Regular competition experience outside of school (preferred) β To be eligible: The 2026 CSPD Primary Sport TEAM Registration Form must be completed. What a beautiful Christmas concert we had Yesterday! The children sang beautifully and really got the crowd involved with the singing. Thank you to all the families who were able to attend and special thanks to Mr Eid and Miss El-hage and all of the teachers for preparing the children so beautifully. Thank you to Mr Lavis, Ms Kivela and the band members for giving us the gift of live music. Thank you also to the school choir!

Principal for a Day! Will and Christian were lucky enough to win the auction at the Fun Fair- today they got to live the dream! They were very busy conducting interviews with school leader candidates, making phone calls, visiting classrooms, even checking out the maintenance shed before the next big clean out. Finally they produced some items for the school newsletter, make sure to read it on Friday. The boys had a great day but I think Mrs Cooke's job might be safe for a little while longer π

Winners! Congratulations Stella and Jasmine GOLD in their respective discus events π₯π at the National Athletics Championships for School Sport Australia in Canberra. Jasmine has also placed second in the combined 4x100m relay. Whilst the carnival continues we wish the girls best of luck for their next events π

Today we took 20 students to the Parramatta Diocesan Gymnastics gala day at Rooty Hill. What an amazing day! Our squad was just brilliant! Their performances and behaviour were outstanding. We recieved 'Runner Up' for overall teams award and 3 gold medalists in overall performance as well as many overall silver medals. Congratulations to our Gold medalists: Laly B Emily M Eve P
