Christmas cheer from the choir ππ Some members of our choir performed at the Epping Club on Wednedsday. The club also gave our school a donation to buy some more resources for our school's music department- very generous! Thank you to the parents and grandparents for always bringing the children early to rehearsals each week.

We officially announced our 2026 School Captains, Vice Captains and Sports Captains at our Thanksgiving Mass. Congratulations to all elected. To all our nominees, well done on presenting yourselves for election, you have all represented yourselves so well. It was a pleasure to see so many students rise to the occasion.

Today, the families who sold the most raffle tickets for our school fun fair were treated to an amazing day out! The fun kicked off with a movie and bowling, and wrapped up with some delicious pizza for lunch. A huge thank-you to our wonderful P&F for organising such a special day, and to all the families who supported the raffle. We appreciate you! πΏ π₯ π³ π

Intergenerational Christmas Visit. We topped off a wonderful year of intergenerational activities with a special Christmas visit to BUPA Dural and MacKillop House Norwest. Alongside students from Gilroy College, our students shared festive cheer by singing Christmas carols and spending time chatting with the residents. In between visits, the students enjoyed a well-earned McDonaldβs lunch together. This year, more than 150 students had the opportunity to participate in our intergenerational program, building connections with a very important part of our community. Thank you to all that participated and we look forward to 2026.

Congratulations to our 4 athletes who received awards at the CSNSW Awards (Catholic Schools NSW) on Tuesday, held at the SCG. Parramatta Diocese had 11 recipients, St Bernadette's had 4 of these! Congratulations Jasmine (Athletics Multi-class), Emily (Diving), Cameron (Swimming): NSW Catholic Primary School- Maroon Award (Award given to a student who has been outstanding in that sport). Congratulations Stella (Athletics Multi-class): NSWCPS Catholic Primary School- Bar Award (Award given to a student who has been outstanding in that sport, and has received a NSWCPS Maroon Award in a previous year). We are all so proud of you and congratulate your parents for all that they do to contribute to your success πππππ

Years 5 & 6 (2026): Eligible to nominate for all sports when they open. Year 4 (2026): Eligible to nominate for Hockey, Softball & Touch Football only. Eligibility & Requirements β Trials are for students who can demonstrate: - Above average ability - High level of skill development - Representative playing experience applicable for some sports - Regular competition experience outside of school (preferred) β To be eligible: The 2026 CSPD Primary Sport TEAM Registration Form must be completed. What a beautiful Christmas concert we had Yesterday! The children sang beautifully and really got the crowd involved with the singing. Thank you to all the families who were able to attend and special thanks to Mr Eid and Miss El-hage and all of the teachers for preparing the children so beautifully. Thank you to Mr Lavis, Ms Kivela and the band members for giving us the gift of live music. Thank you also to the school choir!

Principal for a Day! Will and Christian were lucky enough to win the auction at the Fun Fair- today they got to live the dream! They were very busy conducting interviews with school leader candidates, making phone calls, visiting classrooms, even checking out the maintenance shed before the next big clean out. Finally they produced some items for the school newsletter, make sure to read it on Friday. The boys had a great day but I think Mrs Cooke's job might be safe for a little while longer π

Winners! Congratulations Stella and Jasmine GOLD in their respective discus events π₯π at the National Athletics Championships for School Sport Australia in Canberra. Jasmine has also placed second in the combined 4x100m relay. Whilst the carnival continues we wish the girls best of luck for their next events π
