Behaviour Management
Pastoral care at St Bernadette’s School Castle Hill is all about the way we relate and care for each other. It is what we do for each other from day to day and is the simple expression of our Christian values.
Homework
Homework is seen as a valuable means of reinforcing class work, developing skills in reading and mathematics, providing opportunities for discussions with family members and developing a habit of regular home study.
Late Arrival of Students
As part of the ongoing relationship between home and school, we believe that it is a parental responsibility to ensure that children arrive at school at the correct time on each day classes are provided for the children.
Pastoral Care
At St Bernadette's we recognise that children are individuals, each a unique person. We seek to build a school culture where the dimensions of quality relationships, satisfying learning experiences and effective care networks are central to the life of the school.
Respectful Language
At St Bernadette's we value the importance of treating each other with respect at all times. Our Respectful Language Policy supports the students in demonstrating respect through their language and daily interactions.
